Dear families:

A reminder that our first day back is Tuesday, September 2^nd from 8:30am-11:38am (half day). Please arrange pickup for 11:38 if your child is not on a school bus.

Busses will be running the first day and will follow the half-day schedule.

Please provide your child with a healthy morning snack (no lunch period on the first day).

Please wait to send school supplies until Friday the 5^th after students have been moved into their new classes.

New Kindergarten transition starts Friday the 5^th. Please check your email for a message sent last July with transition information.

As we wrap up another wonderful school year, Lakewood’s staff want to thank you for your continued support and partnership. Wishing you and your family a joyful, restful, and safe summer break—see you in September!

We had a ton of fun last Friday at our Indigenous People’s Day shared festivities with Millstream, and our annual Lakewood FUN DAY this week!

We’re excited to share that our schools will be holding a fun event, June 11th at lunch to celebrate all things diversity! We will be walking around the school dancing and singing to music and students can join as they wish.  This event/activity is a celebration of kindness, inclusion, and the joy of being yourself. It helps students learn about and appreciate diversity, stand against racism and discrimination, and works to create a school where everyone feels they belong.

Come on down to our Fun Fair, sponsored by the PAC, Thursday night from 5-7:30.  There will be food and games and fun for all!
