Have a wonderful Spring Break – from March 19 to April 3. First day back is April 4th.
On April 24th our PAC will be holding a bottle drive in our front parking lot from 11-3. All funds from this fundraiser come back to the school to pay for things like computers, playgrounds, support field trips, the Earthquake kiosk, classrooms and many others. Volunteers are needed and a sign up will be available soon. Go to our PAC’s Facebook page for more info.
With all the tumultuous times going on in the world, here is a wonderful resource to look at.
Bus registration for current students is now open (Tuesday, March 1, 2022). We ask that all returning student riders complete their bus registration as soon as possible.
Fees for the 2022/2023 school year include:
- A $25 safety fee per rider (due when the fee is attached to your School Cash Online account);
- A $100 late registration fee per family (registrations received after August 31).
The SD62 Transportation Policy is currently under review and eligibility of out of catchment riders may be affected. The final Transportation Policy will be approved in late April 2022 after which time, the eligibility for any out of catchment student riders will be determined and you will be notified if your student is not eligible for transportation services. We thank you for your patience. Please watch your email for a notice on how to submit your feedback to the SD62 Board of Education on our draft Transportation Policy later this week.
How to Register
- Visit Online Consent Portal (to find PEN or pupil number and sign consent if you do not have a School Cash Online account)
- Register for the school bus (link will be live March 1 at 8 a.m.)
- Submit $25 fee per rider in School Cash Online (when it appears in your account)
We recommend registering using a computer – not a mobile device.

- Parents with newly registered students.

With the accumulation of snow last night and road conditions as they are, all schools in SD 62 will be closed today. Stay warm and safe.
Goldstream Food Bank came by to pick up the food donations this morning and they were overwhelmed by all of your generosity. 
A huge THANK YOU to all who donated!! What an incredible thing for our community.
On December 17th show your spirit by wearing your Grinch wear, red and green, ugly sweater or just holiday spirit wear. Our staff would like to wish you a joyous and restful holiday.
Reminders:
- As the weather is getting colder and wetter, please make sure your child has a change of clothes in their back pack at all times.
- Please label your child’s hoodies and jackets as these are the majority of the items in the LOST & FOUND.
- Please remember to do the Daily Health Check with your child and keep them home if your child is sick. This is still so important and we all really appreciate your support in keeping everyone healthy and safe.
