Whole School Interactive Dance Workshop

All of the students are participating in an Interactive Dance Awareness program with SQXDanza. SQx is a professional dance company dedicated to fostering the development of contemporary dance through performances and outreach programming  This afternoon and tomorrow morning, all Lakewood students will be given instruction and collaborate to create a dance that will be performed together with the professional dancers at the end of the session. The whole school performance will be at 11:15am (November 15) in the gym. Parents are welcome to come and observe. We will not be opening the doors of the gym until 11:10 as the students will still be wrapping up the practice. We ask that the students remember to wear loose fitting pants and bring a water bottle to help keep them hydrated during the very energetic rehearsal and performance.
