Literacy Week March 9-13

Our annual Literacy Week Celebration is all set for next week, just ahead of Spring Break!

Teachers have created many fun, literacy-based activities for our students and we will kick the week off with an assembly for our school community with a read-aloud in the gym.

Plans include a ‘Poetry Mash,’ a PJ and flashlight read in the gym on Wednesday, and a Fairy Tale whole-school quiz on Friday.

There are also family literacy events that will begin Monday so please stay tuned for more information.

As you can see, it’s going to be a fun-filled week so a big thanks to our Literacy Planning Team who have done a wonderful job coordinating this even 🙂
