PAC Annual General Meeting highlights

Hello Lakewood parents,

We are in our final weeks of the 2025-26 school year and our Lakewood PAC wanted to highlight a few items from our Annual General Meeting last night (the minutes will be posted on the school website soon):

We do need a few volunteers for the June 23rd Annual Fun day so please sign up if you can help – volunteersignup.org/8PEQR
Pizza day next week is moved to Friday June 19th so please get your orders in before the June 14th deadline.
We have a few key PAC roles that are still vacant for next year – Co/vice president, Event Co and Fundraiser Co. Please consider helping with one of these roles because without a full PAC we will have to look at not hosting events and fundraisers which will have a negative impact on our children. If you are worried about committing to a role here are a few options to consider:

- You can partner up and share the role with another Lakewood parent so please check with your friends who also have children in the school
- For the Event Co and Fundraiser Co we could break these roles apart and have people lead specific events/fundraisers. Please note we have been running these events and fundraisers for years so we have great planning documents already created and you will still have a committee to help you – YOU WILL NOT BE ALONE!. So if you don’t feel you can take on the full role are you interested in leading:
  - Meet the Teacher
  - Halloween Dance
  - Family Games Night
  - Spring Fair
  - Bottle Drives
  - Rack Burger and Music Bingo
  - Coupon books
