Wonderful start

Families,

We had a wonderful start to our school year and loved seeing all the returning and new faces.  It was wonderful to see students hugging their friends!

• Frequently we send out with information for our community by email. You will also receive regular communication from classroom teachers. Thank you for reading through these, before you call the school for information. The first few may be a bit long as we share information, but we try to keep them short.
• Please go to the Online Consent Forms and complete these for your child(ren). The link is: https://consent.sd62.bc.ca/apps/OnlineConsent.
• We go outside in almost any weather. Please send your child dressed for the weather with a raincoat and/or umbrella on our rainy days. Please also send in a change of clothes. This is helpful for all ages. Everyone can have a slip or fall and it is quick and easy to move on with the day when they can change into dry clothes.
• Parking and Driving: Thank you for not parking in the bus lane beside the red curbs; this helps our buses roll out on time. Parking is limited so quick pick ups help to move traffic. Please follow our traffic control person at all time
• Lost and Found: Please write names on jackets, hoodies, and sweatshirts. We already have our lost and found filling up. Lost and found is just inside the front door for you to check out. We do not pick up clothing from outside.
• If your child is going to be sick or absent for a day please let their teacher know or leave a message on 250 474 3449

• Our PAC meeting is on Tuesday, Sept. 12th at 7pm in the library.  Please note:  if you have children with you they must have something to do and will be asked to stay out of the hallways – this helps our custodians clean our school.
• We are all adjusting to new experiences, meeting new people, and making new friends. Please support your child with positivity and excitement for the year ahead as we settle in and build community in our new classes.
