We are excited to say that our crossing guard will be starting on Monday Oct. 21st at the marked cross walk on Treanor. There is still a small amount of construction equipment in the parking lot at Lake Ida Ann but this will be a spot to drop off your children and have them cross Treanor with the crossing guard. They can then walk up the staff driveway to the school. Please be kind when driving on this road as we all get used to our new routine.

Parent/Teacher Connections

It is coming up to the time when teachers reach out in a more formal way to connect with you.  This is sometimes a ‘traditional’ parent teacher interview,  or an open house event,  but could also be a phone call or email to you.  Each individual teacher will reach out,  if they are going to to some sort of face to face event.  If you have more than one student at Lakewood this could look differently for each child.  Our staff have planned two evening events Nov. 7 and Nov. 21,  again, not all teachers will be hosting an event on either of these nights and, if they do,  will be choosing only one of those evenings.
